Saw "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" with Kaleb today.
Kaleb thought the movie was funny and great. But this is also a kid who can watch Star Wars everyday and not be bored, and he's 4 years-old.
The movie is what you would expect out of a movie with a title like "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs". It's a predictable kid's movie.
This is what makes what Pixar does so remarkable. They are master story tellers.
Kids will enjoy this movie. Parents will endure the movie.
Save yourself some money and watch the regular version and skip the Imax and the 3D. There's not much in terms of the 3D special effects.
In fact, save yourself a bunch of money and wait for the video.
